COVID-19 Testing and Treatment

If you think that you have been exposed to COVID-19 and have symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, or loss of smell or taste you should get tested immediately. Dr. Yang will test you with COVID-19 antigen or PCR test to confirm the diagnosis.

Even if you were vaccinated or received a booster you may be infected with the mutant type or Omicron of the COVID-19 virus, which can be resistant to the vaccine or booster.

Also, you need to be evaluated for severity and complications of the COVID-19 infection so that you can receive the proper treatments to prevent hospitalization or even death. These treatments include antiviral agents, oxygen, steroids and monoclonal antibodies.
